Ye tbh was disapointed with eversoul a bit and quited after few weeks
Afk arena pioneered nothing but they did popularise the genre a lot. There’s plenty of games like that that existed years before it. Does some things right, but it’s so unbelievable p2w it’s not funny. It’s Lilith: Rise of Kingdoms, Afk, Dyslite, it’s the same shit all over it.
To add to it, Eternal Evolution learned from AFK and really fixed a lot of issues that AFK has, while being lightyears ahead on monetization system. It is still technically P2W, which is not ideal and the only monetisation i support is cosmetics in f2p games, but at the same time the gap between spenders and f2p is one of the smallest in gacha games, where AFK and others can only learn from.
